Ice Cream at Toscanini’s

If you haven't learned by now, Boston loves it some ice cream; Toscanini's is ne plus ultra of micro-batch ice creameries. If the sheer list of 40+ flavors doesn't knock you over (burnt caramel, rather dark chocolate, blueberry pancake, &c), the intensely rich mouthfeel surely will. Charmingly unglamorous, the ice cream kitchen is visible behind the counter and from the sidewalk (behind huge windows). If you're taking your scoop out for a stroll, cross the street and hit Central Bottle, the platonic ideal of a modern neighborhood wine and cheese store. (Mind the Vespa.)
