Get Gussied Up for French Dining at Campagne
I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for great foie gras and Burgundian pinot noir, both of which have been know to skew my bias for a place. Campagne provides a quaint dining space near the Pike Place Market that is worthy of a special occasion meal. It serves up all sorts of French deliciousness, from the aforementioned to a roasted rack of lamb with a hearty mustard crust, to duck confit sauteed with savoy and cabbage, to roasted veal sweetbreads. And the sommelier will quickly discern your taste for wine and recommend an outstanding bottle; for my party, it was 3 amazing bottles of premier cru Gevrey-Chambertin.
